AES Encryptor
Protect sensitive information by encrypting it with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Choose your preferred mode and key size, enter a strong passphrase, and get an encrypted output in Base64 or hex format. Everything runs locally using the Web Crypto API — your data never leaves your device.

How to Use
- Select the AES mode (CBC, CTR, or GCM) and key size (128, 192, or 256-bit).
- Enter the text you want to encrypt in the Plaintext panel.
- Type a strong encryption key (minimum 8 characters).
- Click the Encrypt button to generate the encrypted output.
- Copy or download the result in your preferred format (Base64 or Hex).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between AES-CBC, CTR, and GCM?
CBC is the most common mode and requires padding. CTR is parallelizable and doesn't need padding. GCM provides authenticated encryption (AEAD) which also verifies data integrity.
Is this encryption secure?
AES with 256-bit keys is considered unbreakable with current technology. The encryption happens entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API, which uses the same cryptographic libraries as your operating system.
Can I decrypt the output with other tools?
Yes, as long as you use the same AES mode, key size, and key. The output format (Base64 or Hex) is just for display — any AES-compatible tool can decrypt it.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. All encryption happens locally in your browser using the Web Crypto API. Your text and key never leave your device.
