Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tools2. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully — and if you do not agree, do not use Tools2.

01Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Tools2, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

02Our service

Tools2 provides free, browser-based tools for working with files, text, and data. Unless a tool says otherwise, all processing happens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded to our servers. We may add, change, or remove tools at any time without notice.

03Your files and data

You retain all rights to the files you use with Tools2. Because processing happens in your browser, we never store or transmit your files. You are responsible for the content you process and for ensuring you have the right to use it.

04Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage Tools2 or its infrastructure.
  • Do not reverse-engineer or abuse the service to extract data at scale.
  • Do not use the tools for any unlawful or infringing purpose.

05No warranties

Tools2 is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we aim for accuracy, output from the tools is not guaranteed to be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose. Tools that rely on AI or external data should be treated as assistive, not authoritative.

06Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tools2 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Your files are processed locally, but we still recommend keeping backups of anything important.

07Intellectual property

The Tools2 name, logo, and site design are our property. You may not use them without permission. Nothing in these terms transfers any rights to you in the service itself.

08Third-party services

Some tools may call external services, such as public APIs, to complete a task. Use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tools2 operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
